The One-Meal plate rethinks the traditional separation between courses, bringing different foods together on a single generous surface. Its function remains open: it can move from plate to serving dish, centrepiece, or object for collecting everyday objects.
Acqua Alta is an expression of CCONTINUA’s ongoing research into pigmented tableware and the subtle balance between glossy and matte surfaces. Playing with geometric volumes and oversize proportions, the objects inhabit a hybrid space between use and contemplation. The collection consists of five pieces: One-Meal Plate, Bowl, Loop Cup, Teapot, and GigaSpoon. Through this play of roles and functions, familiar typologies become ambiguous objects, deliberately left open to the interpretation of those who use them.
