Shipping policy
For order preparation and delivery times, you can refer to what is written in the description of the work. For items that require a production time following the order, the shipping times are those indicated in the description of the product itself, under the heading "Estimated delivery time".
- We do not dispatch orders on Saturday, Sundays and holidays.
- Orders placed on Friday will be prepared the following Monday.
- Orders placed on weekends or holidays will ship out on the next business day.
- Kindly note that dispatch times may increase during high demand periods.
- Please be aware that first-time buyers may encounter processing delays due to necessary identity and information clarification.
- Please note that we cannot guarantee that it will be possible to make any change to orders which have been paid for and entered our system.
The final cost of the shipment will be listed in your Shopping Cart before the payment and will be added to the total amount of your order on the Checkout screen. The total amount will be charged to you upon your confirmation of payment.
Within the European Union
ALCOVA mainly works with DHL, UPS and Poste Italiane.
Domestic shipments (Italy) of goods should arrive within 3 days after dispatch, please allow 2-8 days for deliveries to other European countries.
No additional amount should be paid to the courier at the moment of delivery.
Outside the European Union
ALCOVA mainly works with DHL Express and UPS.
Shipments to destinations outside the European Union are exempt from Italian Value Added Tax.
However, they are subject to import taxes or customs duties, that will be determined when the package reaches its Country of destination.
Such customs duties are solely payable by the receiver of the package, who will pay said fees to the courier or to the proper governing authorities.
ALCOVA is not responsible in case of foreign taxes or customs duties, these will be customer's responsibility.

Deliveries are made during office hours from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. The courier will make 2 delivery attempts; after the second, the order will remain in stock at the nearest courier office.
If you have multiple orders with different delivery dates, we combine the items into one parcel unless specified otherwise. The delivery time of your most recent order applies to this combined parcel.
Deliveries to the United Kingdom will be subject to customs fees for orders starting from 135 pounds.
Please note that next day delivery (DHL Express option) is not guaranteed for the following areas: Canary Islands, Finland, Iceland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Norway, Switzerland or the UK, for customs or geographic reasons.
