Alcova Design Shop invites you to discover the extraordinary tradition of the Maschere Apotropaiche di Seminara. For our first drop of the season we are pleased to present six masks, each a powerful magical protective talisman.
Guardians of the threshold, they are horned and foul-mouthed. Born centuries ago to protect the domestic environment from evil forces, they are still as powerful as ever in keeping negative energies away from your home.
Some masks are characterized by the ancestral features that have marked these ceramic faces for centuries; others are contemporary reinterpretations by Giovanni De Francesco, author of the TA RA TA TA mask.
