Sonic Currents

Sonic Current is a ceramic fountain made by Brogen Berwick and Lana Bolkvadze. The work focuses on the issue of underwater noise pollution. The flow and volume of the circulating water is activated by pumps responsive to real-time underwater noise pollution data. This fountain, far removed from its traditional role as a decorative object, becomes an active narrator of environmental disruption
