Lisa Sacco

Design studio
Lisa Sacco is a multidisciplinary designer focused on furniture and sensory objects.
Her practice is rooted in experimentation and research, aiming to foster material
engagement and deepen our sensitivity to the world around us.

Through intentional yet straightforward gestures, her work offers both encounters
and confrontations—challenging conventional systems of design and daily use. With
carefully calculated interventions, she bends meaning, subverts expectations, and
allows objects to speak on their own terms.

Lisa holds an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design (2023) and a Master’s
degree in Photography from Syracuse University. Her work has been featured in
numerous exhibitions and publications, including Salon Art & Design 2024, Alcova
Milano 2025, Alcova Miami, ICFF/WantedDesign, Zarolat Gallery, Initium, The New
York Times, Architectural Digest, and Elle Decor. In 2024, she was awarded an Artist
Residency and Fellowship at Anderson Ranch Arts Center. She received the Be
Original Americas Next Generation Creativity Award for her Haptic Series, presented
at WantedDesign.

She lives and works in the Hudson Valley, where she continues to explore materiality,
sensory perception, and the expressive potential of design.
