Gonzalo Bascuñan

Gonzalo Bascuñan – Art and Design Studio is an independent practice based in Milan, established in 2020 and founded by Chilean designer Gonzalo Bascuñan. The studio works in the fields of creative consultancy, architecture for exhibitions, product design, and public art.

The studio features commissioned artworks and design projects developed by Gonzalo Bascuñan since 2014, as well as an array of international collaborations. A body of work that reflects contemporary society and the time we live in. An artistic and research-driven approach to design engaging spatial experiences can be found in gallery pieces and autonomous art and design projects in the public domain.

Alongside his professional practice, he currently works as a professor in the Master’s Degree in Designing Atmospheres at POLI.design and in the Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design at the Politecnico di Milano.
