Fernanda Vásquez is a Costa Rican designer and architect based in Milan.
Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. In 2018,
she earned her degree in Architecture and then moved to Mexico City to
begin her professional career.

In 2019, she founded Cielo Studio, an independent design practice where
she explores primarily glass, occasionally incorporating acrylic and metal.
The studio experiments with space through installations, photography, and
product design. Each project becomes an opportunity to practice the skills
needed to bring an idea from concept to material realization.

In 2021, she moved to Milan for academic reasons, where she is currently based
and continues exploring new glass techniques in collaboration with local
artisans. Across countries, Cielo Studio exist as a space for experimentation
and inquiry, where creation unfolds as an act of love, existence, revolt, and
freedom.
