Atelier Areti

Atelier Areti is an interdisciplinary design and manufacturing studio. It was founded in 2008 by Gwendolyn and Guillane Kerschbaumer and is based in the UK and Germany. The Atelier is centred around the design and manufacturing of its Core collection of lighting and furniture. In addition it specialises in customisations and bespoke projects.

The interdisciplinary team includes designers, architects, lighting technicians and craftsmen and follows a project from the initial concept phase to the delivery of the final piece. The workshop is located near Arnsberg which is the historic centre of high end lighting production in Germany.

From its inception in 2008 to today, the pieces within our collection have evolved, yet a distinct sense of aesthetics transpires through each piece in their collection. Older and newer pieces speak to each other and create a formal narrative. Atelier Areti lights are made in Germany, using traditional as well as modern production techniques and every detail has been thought through and manufactured with care and precision.
