Adrián Cruz Elements
Design studio
Mexican architect Adrián Cruz, who graduated from the University of Florence, Italy, creates bold lighting and furniture. His exposure to resin began in Mexico City, using his grandfather's resin technique. There, Cruz nods to his geologist father as well as his Mexican heritage — green onyx, in particular, has a long history of use in pre-Hispanic Mexico.
Adrian collaborates with Italian architect Sandro Giulianelli and the new design studio ÁCCA Editions, founded by Mexican interior architect Carmen Arechiga and Adrian Cruz.
Pieces created with Sandro Giulianelli and Carmen Arechiga amplify the use of crystalline resin.
Each piece is handmade by master artisans between Italy and Mexico, forming a cultural frontier-less dialogue that crosses over the oceans.
