Pleats side table

Pleats Side Table is part of Didi NG Wing Yin's Wood Pleats collection. Multiple axes are used to create the tubular shape. The organic shape of each plank is retained to reveal the true nature of the wood. To create a seamless wood grain surface, the splits are oriented similar to a rift cut. A brushing approach with a gradient from rough to smooth surface is used to highlight the contrasts in materiality.
